The Netflix show, Unsolved Mysteries Season 2 on the OTT site on 19th October. Netflix has announced that it has 12 episodes. But to date, viewers are treated with six episodes only.
Now, Netflix has tweeted, “Let’s see how much of a sleuth @Unsolved Mysteries Volume 1 made you…”
The date is not present. But as you zoom in, you will be able to see 19 October.
The show has recieved immense success. It ran from 1987 till 2010 and was a big hit. It proved itself to its true crime fans.
Netflix said in a statement, “In six new episodes, Unsolved Mysteries profiles more unexplained disappearances, tragic events, and bizarre occurrences.”
The company issued the statement and added, “Perhaps one viewer holds the key to solving these cases. Detectives, journalists, and family members offer intriguing theories in this gripping series from the creators of the original docuseries, Cosgrove/Meurer Productions, and 21 Laps Entertainment, the producers of Stranger Things.”
There was an earlier statement, it read, “Fusing signature elements from the original series with contemporary immersive, character-driven storytelling, the 12 new episodes are rooted in the experiences of ordinary people who have lived the unthinkable – from the trauma of a loved one’s unexplained disappearance or horrific death to the shock of a bizarre paranormal encounter.
“Alongside detectives and journalists, family members offer clues, present theories, and identify suspects, hoping one viewer holds the key to solving the mystery.”
Netflix Unsolved Mysteries With Ghost Stories
Fans have no idea about what the Netflix show, Unsolved Mysteries will hold in its second batch of episodes. But Terry Dunn Meurer, Executive Producer, told Variety that one of the episodes will feature a ghost story that would be true.
He stated, “It’s an unusual ghost episode. That’s all I’ll say. It’s different. A bit different.”
Among the cases on the new series, a UFO incident took place in Berkshire County, Massachusetts in 1969. It featured the death of Alonzo Brooks disappearing after the party. Alonzo Brooks was found dead after a month. This was a case of Xavier DuPont De Ligonnés as his family was found dead in their own home after disappeared in 2011
Among the cases examined on the new series so far are a mysterious UFO incident that took place in Berkshire County, Massachusetts back in 1969; the death of Alonzo Brooks, who disappeared after a party and was found dead a month later.
The second lot of Unsolved Mysteries will be available from 19th October. The first lot of 6 episodes, is available now.
