Zoom app has been in news for the longest time now. It has helped so many organizations, companies, families, and friends to connect while the whole world was under lockdown.

While the Zoom app is compatible in every sense but you can enhance your experience while using the app. Just like the browser extensions that provide users of Safari, Firefox, and Chrome the option to use apps without them leaving them. This feature will start from Facebook in September. From the end of this month (August), Zoom will be selling a 26-inch $599 stand-alone Zoom gadget from DTEN.  

The App developers have the advantage to become a part of Zoom’s Marketplace as they get to show off in front of the eyes of the Zoom public. The CEO of Prezi, Jim Szafranski said, “It enhances what they can do with Zoom”. 

“It’s a great opportunity for us to get in front of them.”

Moreover, it’s different for the companies to be at Zoom’s Marketplace as it is free. Unlike in the case of Apple and Google’s app stores charging 30% commission on sales. 

While there are free apps that help in increasing the productivity and the others are available with Zoom’s paid version. And it costs around $14.99 a month.

► Sidedoor: The online concert venue offers a chance for artists to open up Zoom rooms and talk directly to ticket purchasers as a value add.

► Lingmo Translate: Use text translator to perform conversations in different languages within the Zoom’s chat section. According to Lingmo, it works fine with around 80 languages, and “there is no limit to how many languages are interacting during a chat.”

► WixA plug-in that adds the ability to provide Zoom webinars and classes straight onto websites built with the tools of Wix’s website.

► Otter.ai: Meetings can also be reproduced in a written form in real-time via Otter. But only “Pro” users paying $14.99 monthly or more can use the application. However, there is also a free version of Otter available, but like Zoom’s free version, Otter’s users can only use it for 40 minutes before they are asked to upgrade.
