The latest calendar of Disney confirms that the upcoming superhero project by Marvel Studios is changed to Eternals without “The” in it. Eternals will be MCU’s first major superhero movie in phase 4.
It gathers an all-star ensemble cast. It is due to be released in February 2021. Eternals stars Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Gemma Chan, Brian Tyree Henry, Selma Hayek, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Luren Ridloffand many others.
Eternals will be second in MCU phase 4. It will follow Black Widow which is scheduled for a theatrical release on 6th November. It was the soot previously reserved for Eternals. But then the movie got delayed due to the pandemic. Eternals will be following the characters from a race of immortal beings of the same name.
Now, the new release schedule of Disney has confirmed that the movie’s title will not have “the” in it. Earlier, it was titled Eternals but in recent times it was referred to as The Eternals. However, the new schedule confirms that Eternals is still on track without The in it. It is scheduled for February.
Minimal Change, Ethereal Characters
The change is minimal but it confirms the ethereal nature of the characters. Rather than being a designated group like The Avengers, it confirms them as species like humans. The film will be diverse. The upcoming movie will be featuring The Deviant, a race of humanoids.
Eternals will be significant not only for organizing never-before-seen classes and characters in the MCU. But also for starring the most distinct cast of characters. Nanjiani, who got extremely pulled for the role of Kingo, will be the first South Asian superhero in Hollywood. While the movie will also star Marvel’s first gay superhero (Phastos) and its initial deaf superhero (Makkari). It’s also the introductory Marvel film to be directed by Chloe Zhao, an Asian woman
The release date is just a few months from now. The official title is Eternals that is now confirmed. There are no official photos that are released yet. No one has an idea about the characters’ looks. No footage has been released as of now. The most likely time to release one will be after the Black Widow will be hitting the theatres.
