But now, here is the exclusive revelation of the first of the returning Black Cat series. Jed Mackay, the writer, has teased earlier that the book was set to return back when Marvel’s king in Black kicked into gear. We know why, as it is revealed that it’s the attack of Knull on Earth that happened to interrupt the latest heist of Black Cat. It sets the events of the series into motion.
The returning Black Cat series with Black Cat #1 would be written by Mackay and will be drawn by C.F. Villa. The first look of the cover is by artist Pepe Larraz.

Mackay is more thrilled about the return of the book and has teased about the coming events of the series during King In Black and beyond. It includes the Thieves Guild heist that is anticipated, a new costume, and much more.
