Ewan McGregor spills details about Obi Wan Kenobi series. The details are given by McGregor about the upcoming Disney plus Obi Wan Kenobi series. 

While giving an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ewan McGregor spills details about Obi Wan Series. He revealed that the new show will be starting soon. 

He said, “Spring next year we start. I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be great, I think.”

According to him, the spin-off series will be a standalone single season.

McGregor further added, “As I understand, it’s a standalone season. We’ll see. Who knows?”

Ewan McGregor spills details about Obi Wan Kenobi Series, he played Obi Wan back in 1999 in The Phantom Menace. He signed for 2 more sequels “Attack of the Clones” in 2003 and “Revenge of the Sith” in 2005. 

He’s now excited by the whole thing to reprise the role. In fact, he’s also delighted to tackle the new episodes than in the sequels.

While appearing on the Empire Podcast, McGregor said, “I’m more excited about doing this one than I was doing the second and third one that we did before.”

“I’m just excited about working with [director] Deborah Chow, and the storylines are going to be really good I think. I’m just excited to play him again. It’s been long enough since I played him before.”

And it’s not just stepping back into Obi-Wan’s shoes he’s excited about – McGregor also reckons that filming will be more fun this time around thanks to ever-advancing technology.

“I’m just going to enjoy it all much more,” he told ACE Universe.”

“It was technically quite complicated, I remember. It was all blue screen and green screen. It was hard to imagine it [the surroundings].”

“I think it’s going to feel real for us, the actors. I don’t know if you’ve seen any of the behind-the-scenes Mandalorian series, but they employ that incredible screen and I don’t even begin to know how it works, but it’s pretty amazing.”

Ewan McGregor spills details about Obi Wan Kenobi, “So when you’re on set, if you’re in a snowscape or something, well when you look around you see that and it makes you feel like you’re in the place. It’s going to feel more real for us.”

However, the new series doesn’t have any release as of now.
