Get ready, the 3rd installment of Netflix’s You is coming soon as it’s on its way. The production for Netflix’s You Season 3 is set to start its production soon.
Though no beginning date is publicly set as of now, an insider from the show has confirmed that the schedule for Netflix’s You Season 3 will return to production in Autumn.
However, filming began at the beginning of this year. But 2020 had different plans for the show and pandemic halted everything.
Despite production for Netflix’s You Season3 being put on hold, the co-creator of the show, Sera Gamble didn’t shy away from giving a few indications as to what we can anticipate from the eagerly-awaited new contribution.
She clarified that ‘there is a lot to come’ with the fresh mystery neighbor discerned at the end of the earlier season.
Gamble has given rise to the disclosure during a virtual conversation with Penn Badgley, who plays lead character Joe Goldberg in You.
Both of them were re-watching the best moments from the show, this included the final scene of the last season.
While reflecting on the clip in which Joe sees through his fence at the woman who is unknown. Badgley said, “I want to ask you about what we’re going to do here but you can’t really tell us.”
Gamble replied, “It’s pretty obvious when we were filming this that we were careful not to show too much of her because that role hasn’t technically been cast yet. But there are lots to come with that neighbor.”
Will Netflix’s You Season 3 Feature Joe’s Mom?
Fans have their own hypotheses and assumptions as to what will occur, particularly regarding that erratic final scene, where Joe says in a voiceover, “This is just the beginning. Because this is where I had to be to meet you.”
“There you were with your books and your sunshine, so close but worlds away. I will figure out a way. A way to get to you. See you soon, neighbor.” However, the same would be disclosed in Netflix’s You Season 3.
Different fans have different assumptions. One of the fans thinks that she is actually his mom.
The fan wrote, “I’m telling y’all the woman at the end is going to be Joe’s mom and not a new girl he’s obsessed with.”
“I think she disappeared and started a new family and Joe finally decided to track her down for obvious reasons… He’s absolutely stalking his mom in S3 #YouSeasonTwo.”
However, there is no release date for Netflix’s You Season 3 just yet.
