The new fan art shows Gender Swapped version of Batman Family. Recently Schmidt posted the art on his Twitter account. The female version of Batman, Robin and Nightwing have a slightly long hair and The male Batgirl also rocks a shorter-crop of the character’s trademark red hair, with the male Batwoman having a tighter cut. All of their costumes are also designed according to their body types without adding or covering up anything.

Fans on Reddit and Twitter have already gone crazy after seeing this and they are coming up with some new names for the gender-flipped cast. Schmidt himself dropped some suggestions like Brie Wayne for Bruce Wayne, Ricarda Greyson for Richard Greyson, Jesse Todd for Jason Todd, Bartholomew Gordon for Barbara Gordon and Keith Cain for Cassandra Cain. Other than the Bat family Reddit and Twitter community are also coming up with some names for Batman’s Allies and Villains. Jim Gordon (Gillian “Jill” Gordon), Alfred Pennyworth (Alma Pennyworth), The Riddler (Edwina Nygma), and Mr. Freeze (Victoria Fries).

What’s truly fun about Schmidt’s rendition of the Gender Swapped version of Batman Family is not just comparing what is different, but what stays the same in the essence of the characters. Naturally, this is all speculation, but given the positive response from people on social media, it can be taken  as an endorsement of comics fans who would love to see the adventures of Batwoman and the Girl-Wonder.
