According to The Hollywood Reporter, Doctor Strange will restore the role of mentor that was earlier filled by Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark/Iron Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Now we will see Benedict Cumberbatch In Spiderman 3.
Cumberbatch’s interest comes on the heels of Jamie Foxx reprising his role again as the fiend Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The additions of Foxx and Cumberbatch directs to assumptions that the third Spider-Man film featuring Tom Holland could deal with the multiverse.
