Joel Dawson (O’Brien) has taken to habitation underground, along with humanity, ever since huge creatures overthrew the land. Promising to reconnect with his high school darling Aimee (Jessica Henwick), who is uncovered in a coastal colony, Joel undertakes a trip to find her regardless of the terrifying obstacles in his path.
The comedy has been in the works for many years now. Originally named Monster Problems, the movie has had various release dates. Though it was planned to hit theaters in February 2021, it was declared back in August that Love and Monsters will be made available on demand starting in October.
