The highly anticipated The Boys Season 2 secured its place on Amazon Prime Video on 4 September and one of the disturbing moments is saved for the finale.

It was considered so bad that the scene was presumed to be in season 1 but it was too graphic and so got cut.

Eric Kripke told his fans about the scene of The Boys Season 2, “There was ONE SCENE that Amazon said F**K NO, you have to cut.”

“I couldn’t quite understand why considering everything else we have in the show, but: Homelander, after being dressed down by Stilwell in episode 2, was standing on one of the Chrysler building Eagles.”

“He pulled his pants down and started jerking off, mumbling “I can do whatever I want” over and over again until he climaxed all over New York City. We shot it!”

“Oh my God, Anthony was the BEST in that scene. Amazon seemed to think it wasn’t necessary. I thought it told me something about his psyche. To be clear, they’ve been great, that may have been the ONLY fight I lost in Season 1.”

The Final Scene Of The Boys Season 2 Got A Red Flag Earlier 

Despite getting the red flag, the final event of The Boys Season 2 which inferred on Friday, 9th October, shows Homelander being transferred over the edge and delighting himself on a New York City rooftop as he recited the very phrase ‘I can do whatever I want’…

While speaking to the LA Times about the last scene of The Boys Season 2, Kripke explained, “One funny side note about that rooftop scene is it was shot in Season 1. It was the one scene Amazon asked me to cut because they felt it went too far in the early days of the show.”

“So in [The Boys Season 2 finale] we had another moment for Homelander at the end, and Amazon gave us the note, ‘It’s probably just a little too ambiguous. Can you give us something with a little more punch?’ ‘I got just the idea!'”

It’s not completely apparent whether the entire thing was reshot or if the footage was borrowed from the first time around.

The Boys was created by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
