Tatiana Maslany will not be She Hulk. Tatiana Maslany starred as Sarah Manning in Orphan Black from 2013 to 2017, has denied being part of the cast as a titular role for live-action Disney Plus’s She Hulk Series. Thus, Tatiana Maslany will not be She Hulk.
Maslany said to The Sudbury Star about her playing Jennifer Walters, “That isn’t a real thing and it’s like a press release that’s gotten out of hand, it’s not — I’ve been connected to these things in the past and press has gotten onto it, but it’s not a thing, unfortunately.”
When asked more, Maslany continued and denied the casting. She said, “Yeah, I don’t know how these things get — I don’t know, I don’t know. You know better; I have no idea.” Now we got to know that Tatiana Maslany will not be She-Hulk.
Tatiana Maslany Will Not Be She Hulk, Earlier Her Part Was Announced By Deadline
Maslany’s part as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) She Hulk was announced by Deadline in mid-September. But now, Tatiana Maslany will not be She Hulk. Marvel did not announce the report at that time. Her casting was enjoyed by Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo, old She-Hulk comic writers Charles Soule and Dan Slott, artist Phil Noto and Shang-Chi, and The Legend of the Ten Rings’ Simu Liu. Tatiana Maslany will not be She Hulk.
She Hulk is one of the several MCU series that Disney Plus has on the channel. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was presumed to kick off in August, but, due to delays because of Coronavirus, was shoved back to an unknown date. WandaVision will premiere in November. Other series are in the works that include Loki, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Knight.
Marvel also has Black Widow that is slated to premiere on 7 May 2021. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be released on July 9, 2021. Eternals appears next on Nov. 5, 2021. There will be an untitled Spider-Man 3 film on Dec. 17, 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder will follow on Feb. 11, 2022.
She-Hulk is created by a writer. Stan Lee and artist John Buscema, She-Hulk initially appeared in The Savage She-Hulk #1 in February 1980.
