The Mandalorian Season 2 Is Finally Dropped On Disney Plus

The Mandalorian Season 2 is dropped on Disney Plus. It is promising to be bigger and better than the earlier season. The Mandalorian Season 2 follows a successful first season which was premiered in November of last year. It was the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise.

The first one is set after the events of Return of Jedi. It follows a bounty hunter who tries to return The Child. 

For The Mandalorian Season 2, the synopsis follows: “In the second season, The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.”

“The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, with guest stars Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, and Giancarlo Esposito.”

“Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed, and Robert Rodriguez.”

“Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serving as co-executive producers.”

Fans are excited about the series and new episodes as the creator, Jon Favreau has bigger plans to go deeper.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Is Available On Weekly Basis

While discussing what’s in the bag during a virtual panel for the ATX Television Festival, he said, “[We’re] hopefully building on what people loved about the first season, and it’s just felt like one continuous production.”

“Because of the rhythm of television, it’s not like you get to stop. I think we started filming [season 2] the day after it aired for the first time. So it doesn’t feel like the next season, it feels like we’re continuing.”

“As we explore partnering with new filmmakers and having new characters and going deeper with the characters we already have, it’s really been very fun and fulfilling and I hope people are having as much fun seeing it as we are having making it.”
