Recent photos of The Witcher Season 2 feature Yennefer and many other major characters who were filming in Yorkshire. The fantasy drama features Henry Cavill who already has grabbed a huge audience with season 1 available on Netflix. The characters of the show and its story is based on the series of books by Andrzej Sapkowski.
Before The Witcher Season 2, the first season of The Witcher shows its protagonist Geralt, a mutant human “witcher” who has superhuman powers to hunt monsters and other species.
Geralt’s trips take a position on the Continent, as do those of the show’s additional main characters Princess Ciri (Freya Allen) and Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra). Season 1 finished up with Geralt and Ciri destined meeting and Yennefer’s disappearance amid intra-Continental conflict. Netflix was quick to renew the show for The Witcher season 2, but filming was planned for this year was postponed due to the coronavirus.
A fan blog Redanian Intelligence has shared recent photos of The Witcher Season 2 that shows actors filming in Yorkshire before the picturesque monastic damages of Fountains Abbey. Peter Lau shared the pictures on Facebook. Yennefer gives rise to an appearance, as do several other mages (i.e. sorcerers): Yennefer’s mentor Tissaia, the head of the male mage academy Stregobor, and Yennfer’s peer Sabrina. Villefort is also in the middle—the sorcerer plays a significant part towards the end of season 1 in the battle with Nilfgaard. Eamon Farren plays the knight Cahir and is seen on the sets as well.

Recent set photos of The Witcher Season 2 reveal Nilfgaard’s garish new armor, and Netflix broadcasted initial look shots of Geralt’s costume in October.
These unofficial photos of The Witcher season 2 set probably exhibit the staff filming an event that is a gathering of mages, maybe a closed-door conference for political purposes.
Netflix has already released the official synopsis of The Witcher Season 2. It states, “Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans, and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.”
