Schitt’s Creek Tops The Weekly Ratings of Nielsen

Schitt’s Creek is dominating Nielsen’s weekly ratings. The comedy series began in 2015 and it stars Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara who portray their characters in a wealthy and self-obsessed Rose Family. With their children, the Roses shift from their mansion to a poorly named town of Schitt’s Creek after the loss of their fortune. However, it was a small show in the beginning, but it grew in popularity when it was added on Netflix after season 3.

After its 6th season, the show came to an end and it was a success as more people were binge-watching it on Netflix. In September, Schitt’s Creek got the Emmy. It set the record for most Emmy wins.

Fans have greatly acclaimed Schitt’s Creek’s heartwarming tale, especially at a time when audiences are striving for uplifting shows. Thus, it’s no shock that the series is bending its strength over on streaming platforms.

Schitt’s Creek Tops The Ratings With 1.46 billion minutes watch

As per Deadline, Schitt’s Creek is on the top of Nielsen’s weekly streaming ratings for the second week in a row. Between 5th October to 11th November, the show was seen for 1.46 billion minutes. It’s reported that Nielsen’s ratings only take TV sets into reports, not portable devices. Still, those are some pretty big numbers.

Amazon’s The Boys is the only non-Netflix series that is ranked in the Nielsen’s ratings. From October 5-11, The Boys ran its finale of the second season. All-around, it is in fifth place with 752 million minutes streamed.

The show held onto the top place isn’t too startling. For many months, the subscribers have been waiting for its final season. The show received a bump after the Emmys.
