Tony Stark killed the character of Jon Favreau, Happy Hogan, in the comics during the time of Marvel’s Civil War.
One specialty that mainstream Superhero comics have that while having the wider universe, each hero sees his competition in his supporting system. From the beginning, the Marvel heroes had some special link but they tend to have different villains, different natures, different love, and different support system.
Such is certainly the case with Iron Man – who when he isn’t palling around with Captain America and Thor – has friends of his own, such as his former love interest and close friend Pepper Potts, and his best friend Harold Happy Hogan whom he killed in 2007.
Happy is known for Jon Favreau’s portrayal of the character on MCU as Tony’s biggest Supporting hand and later being the custodian of Spiderman in Spiderman: Far From Home. While Favreau’s Happy Hogan might not have struck anyone as an essential character, he has been a stalwart of Iron Man’s adventures since 1963’s Tales of Suspense #45, eventually marrying Pepper Potts. Despite this, he was killed by the hands of Tony Stark, Happy hasn’t received any benefit from any comic book.
Why Tony Killed Character of Jon Favreau in Comic Books?
Of course, Tony is one of the greatest hero histories ever witnessed, there must be a strong reason that’s why Tony killed Jon Favreau’s character in Comic Books. This event happened during Marvel’s first civil war, the story that gave Tony such a trauma that he was forced to erase his memory to let his mates accept him. Pepper informed Tony that Happy never wanted to take a single breath without having control over his own body, she begged Tony to kill Happy as this is his last wish.
Tony refuses her wish and returns to the tour, pour himself a drink. Despite knowing the fact that this action can help her side to win the first civil war, Invisible Woman from fantastic four stops him from ruining his sobriety, shaming him for allowing Happy to come to harm on his account. Tony leaves everything and sat down on his knees prays to Almighty God, a machine shows up registering Happy Heart Beat going down.
While the comic isn’t 100%, incontrovertibly explicit that Iron Man killed Happy Hogan, it’s implied to the point that little room for doubt is left. It possible to see the event in many different ways.
