Supernatural’s Final Episode Is Nod To Earlier Episodes

Andrew Dabb, co-showrunner of Supernatural has hinted that the forthcoming Supernatural’s Final Episode is the awaiting nod to the prior episodes.

Dabb told Entertainment Weekly about the Supernatural’s Final Episode, “Everything is pretty mythology-focused up until the finale. (The finale) is a little bit more of an old-school episode.” Dabb went on to clarify that the ultimate two episodes of the series, episodes 19 and 20, aren’t a real two-parter, but that they were thankful to have the area to complete the story.

Supernatural’s Final Episode To Focus On Cast And Journey

Dabb continued, “it seemed like a lot to land all of our myths and a satisfying farewell. Doing it all in 42 minutes would have been difficult. So, better for us to treat it almost like a two-parter, where a lot of the myth stuff, not all of it, but a lot it gets dealt with in episode 19 and then 20 can focus more on the characters and their journeys.” Supernatural’s Final Episode is the awaited episode to be available soon.

He also said, “We wanted it to, in some ways, hearken back to where the show began, which was two guys on the road saving people, hunting things.” And while Dabb believes that they won’t be proficient to fulfill each fan with the ending, the cast and crew “believe it feels like a fitting end to the show.”

Supernatural has stars like Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert. The series’ episode “Inherit the Earth” airs on Thursday, Nov. 12 and the series’ final episode is to air on Nov. 19 on The CW. 14 seasons of Supernatural are presently available on Netflix.
