Wonder Woman 1984 To Be Watched In Rental Theatre

Wonder Woman 1984 is to release on both HBO Max and theaters together on Christmas Day. Director Patty Jenkins has announced the innovative ways for the fans of the movie to watch the film safely on the bug screens.

Patty Jenkins has tweeted about the proposal in reaction to a fan, saying, “We are also working on a program to allow you, your cohort, your family, or your pod to rent THEIR OWN THEATERS OUT to screen the film in the safety of your group.”

However, Wonder Woman 1984 would be released in theaters, but many viewers are avoiding cinemas because of Covid-19. Renting the theater for a family will be allowing some to feel safe.

Jenkins stated, “We will try to help to bring it to as many of you as we can and thank you all for your support, You are great fans.”

Wonder Woman 1984 Delayed And Planned Again

Like many of the films that are planned to release in 2020, Wonder Woman 1984 is delayed and rescheduled many times. The decision of Warner Bros. to allow the film to hit the theaters and home streaming platforms may change the pattern of future releases.

Similarly, Jenkins’ statement considering the rental of  theaters for private groups could pave the means for future films, as the cinema industry proceeds to struggle through the pandemic’s consequences.

Wonder Woman 1984 is directed and co-written by Patty Jenkins. It stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, and Natasha Rothwell. The film is expected to arrive in theaters and HBO Max on Dec. 25, while debuting theatrically in worldwide markets will start on Dec. 16.
