Kate Winslet Feels James Cameron Has Become More Calmer
While having an interview with Collider Kate Winslet talks about what she felt different in James Cameron while working on Avatar 2 since they last collaborated more than 20 years ago on Titanic. In response, Kate replies that Cameron has developed into a more calmer and demeanor person on set.
She recalls Cameron’s work on Titanic required six-day weeks for him for seven and a half months of the shoot, with four and a half of those months taking place at night, that why filming of Titanic was hard, tiring, and often stressful for the cast and crew. Kate said Cameron gained a lot of experience after working on Titanic that made him calmer and this has created a very open space for the actors, as Cameron “was brilliantly collaborative on Avatar [2], honestly. I was awestruck by how much time he allows for the actors to often just meander over a scene if it doesn’t feel like it fit quite right.”
Winslet says she is very excited for the movie to release, and fans can expect to see her and other Pandora veterans in Avatar 2 in theaters on December 16, 2022.
