Batman and Robin was also the second go-around for Joel Schumacher at the Batman franchise after 1995’s Batman Forever. Schumacher’s approaches led to some bizarre missteps including mistakes in Batman’s costume and Script filled with some terrible one-liners. Overall the movie was a total disaster according to fans and audience and now considered to be the biggest failure in the Batman franchise with having just an 11% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze was indeed the biggest perpetrator of terrible Batman & Robin lines, uttering atrocious would-be zingers like “Let’s kick some ice!” and “You’re not sending me to the cooler!” A true disappointment for the fans who saw Schwarzenegger’s delivering one epic one-liner in other films. Not only Schwarzenegger was the one who faced this act but Thurman’s Poison Ivy too got in on the bad dialog act, letting loose with the groan-worthy line “Sorry, my vines have a crush on you” while unleashing her killer plants on Batman. Clooney also got a chance to disappoint his fans  “Never leave the cave without it” during an unspeakable gag about his Bat credit card.
