The Umbrella Academy season 1 was set in the present day that saw Hargreeves’ adopted father’s funeral while The Umbrella Academy season 2 took the team to the 1960s where some other challenges were waiting for them.
The Umbrella Academy season 2 saw its premiere in Summer 2020. The climax ended on a cliffhanger, with the team being able to return to the present time but has drastically altered the timeline. When the team comes back in 2019 they were shocked by seeing Ben and their adopted father, Reginald alive. Additionally, Reginald came up Sparrow Academy not Umbrella Academy that means a team of the different super-powered individual. This shocking reveal raised the popularity of the show and made Netflix announced Umbrella Academy season 3 earlier this month. The series will begin filming the next installment in early 2020.

This week he took social media to reveal the Umbrella Academy Season 3 Episode 1’s title, “Meet The Family” this Backman also revealed that he is going to co-write the show with Michelle Lovretta
Though it’s hard to find too many story ideas with the episode’s title, it clear hinted at what is about to come. The title suggests a meeting between the members of Umbrella Academy and Sparrow Academy. The audience has expected to see this one day but still, it will exciting to see what is going to happen when these two groups will meet. This is especially true considering the original team will likely want to set the timeline back to its original state. It seems likely interactions between the two academies will be contentious, at least at first.
This Title reveal made fans more eager to see what is about to come with Umbrella Academy season 3. Though a release date hasn’t been announced at this time, nearly a year and a half passed between seasons 1 and 2. Since the second season came out in July, it could be the end of 2021 before The Umbrella Academy fans see the Hargreeves again. Luckily, judging by the new information about the season 3 premiere title, their return will be worth the wait.
