The Boys Inspired First Board Game Promises To Deliver Some Epic Fun

A new board game which includes miniatures of fan-favorite characters from The Boys, and let players enjoy the fun of defeating Homelander.

First Games and Dynamite Entertainment are delivering new games based on the famous comic book series which includes miniatures of fan-favorite characters from the series. 

Although there is no official date announced for the release of the new board game titled The Boys: This Is Going to Hurt,  as of yet it has achieved its funding goal of $50,000 on Kickstarter. In this new game, players have to take on the role of a CIA agent who must attempt to take down all-powerful super Homelander before he takes to destroy everything.

The Board Game includes miniature of fan-favorite characters from the series such as Billy Butcher, Hughie, Frenchie, Mother’s Milk, Kimiko, and a larger bust of Homelander himself, which sits at the center of the board and towers above the action. Players need to use all the tools including blackmail and Compound V to defeat homelanders.

The Boys adapted by Amazon Prime

The Boys first appeared as a comic book which made its debut in 2000 and had a long journey till 2012. Since then Amazon adapted The Boys and presented it in the face of a successful television series, which recently saw the end of its second season.

Amazon Studios’ The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
