The Mandalorian: Pedro Pascal Revealed The Reason He Agreed To Share Screen With Baby Yoda

Pedro Pascal revealed the reason why he agreed to co-star with Baby Yoda on The Mandalorian, discussing he knew how the audience is going to react after disclose of Baby Yoda’s real Identity.

Although The Mandalorian is strengthening the relationship between Pedro Pascal and Baby Yoda. Recently Pedro Pascal revealed the reason that made him a Co-star with a little fan-favorite green guy while having an interview with EW.

“It’s ironic that the 45-year-old’s highest-profile success to date is working with an adorable animatronic puppet, inside a chrome helmet he famously can’t take off,” Pedro Said.

“It is why I wanted to do this show,” he continued. “Selfishly, I knew [the Child, a.k.a. Baby Yoda] was likely to make people fall in love with the show.”

Pascal starred in many other series and made a mark as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones, but he gained different kinds of fame and love with his role of Pedro Pascal in The Mandalorian. From the description of the series and Mando’s Mandalorian code of never taking off his helmet, this might have seemed like a risk for the actor, but it paid off.

Pascal assumed it right that the little green guy is soon going to be the fan-favorite as their relationship is blooming up in the second season. From the start, Baby Yoda is receiving fan’s love and had recently become the favorite meme material. 

Baby Yoda has been with Mando since the pilot episode when he accepts the bounty to recover him. Ever since then, the two have gone on harrowing adventures together to bring the baby home. As Mando seeks to find Grogu’s people, he ends up in side quests to gain further knowledge of Grogu’s origin. All the while, Mando protects Grogu from various forces seeking to capture the Child for their motivations and becomes his father figure.

In Chapter:13 The Jedi more about Baby Yoda was revealed by a former knight, Ahsoka Tano. But there is a lot of danger still waiting for Baby Yoda in this long journey of The Mandalorian.
