The heartthrob of The Vampire Diaries Ian Somerhalder recently revealed his worst on-screen kiss on the teen drama.
Actor Ian Somerhalder who played the character of the immortal vampire Damon Salvatore on the popular teen drama “The Vampire Diaries” for eight seasons recently revealed his on-screen kiss experience. Damon Salvatore’s character has always been the fans’ favourite. The 41-year old received a lot of praise for portraying the character. The show ended in 2017, but fans of the series still can’t get enough of their favourite character.
Julie Plec’s show The Vampire Diaries was filled with romance and that obviously meant characters would kiss. The lead actor of the show, Ian recently revealed which on-screen kiss was the worst of his career.
Damon Salvatore’s on-screen love scenes:
Despite playing the villain of the show, Damon manages to steal the limelight and became everyone’s favourite in the show. We all know, Damon kissed the maximum numbers of the girls on the show. So, the actor described his least-favorite on-screen kiss.
In a recent interview with Elle Magazine’s Thirst Trap, Ian discussed a kiss he shared with Chris Wood who played the character of evil witch Kai Parker. Yes, you read it right!
Remember the iconic kiss between Elena & Damon where the two shared a steamy kiss during the rain. Ian and Chris teamed up for a spoof video in which Kai stepped into Elena’s shoes to recreate the iconic rain kissing scene.

To this, Ian Somerhalder said “When we were shooting a spoof reel for the comic-con panel, me and Chris Wood had to kiss in this rain because we were mimicking the Damon-Elena kiss. And we had the scene where you see Damon and Elena and they’re looking longingly into each other’s eyes. And then they go in, and they start to kiss. And then we cut, we pulled back out, and it’s Chris Wood and Damon, which is Kai and Damon.
