Eagle-Eyed fans spotted the appearance of Fennec Stand character from Mandalorian in a recently released teaser for the Animated Star Wars: Bad Batch.
Mandalorian character Fennec Stand is going to feature in Star Wars: Bad Batch. After attaining Lucasfilm’s and Star Wars, Disney has worked furiously to expand the Sci-fi universe beyond the expectations of fans. Sci-fi fans are now able to enjoy the Mandalorian in this pandemic and all the credit goes to studios’ streaming platform Disney+
But the Mandalorian is just the beginning step for Disney+, when it comes to exploring all the content for the Star Wars franchisor some plans for the franchise were revealed at the recent Disney Investor Day 2020, even some teases of future projects like Lando Calrissian TV show, a limited series built around Ahsoka Tan and an R o, gue Squadron movie directed by Patty Jenkins were also dropped. Disney’s next step in Star Wars franchise progression is an animated show the Bad Batch, a spinoff of the clone wars featuring a bunch of clones undertaking mercenary work.
Some important information about the Bad Batch is out, but recently a reel was released which dropped some teases about the tone and feel of the show. A few eagle-eyed Star Wars fans like Twitter user @NeraTheTalha pointed out some important information about the cast of the show. They noticed Fennec Stand from the Mandalorian in the recently released reel of The bAd Batch.
Is The Bad Batch Going To Shed Light on Mandalorian’s Fennec Stand?
The character of assassin Fennec Stand was portrayed by Ming-Na Wen, which was first introduced in Mandalorian season 1 episode “The Gunslinger,” when she tussled with Din Djarin on Tatooine and was ultimately shot and left for dead by a rookie bounty hunter Toro Caliban.
Of course, that episode ended with a lot of suspense as the dead body of Fennec was presumed by a mysterious figure, who was Boba Fett according to the fan’s Theory. Indeed season 2 revealed that the fan’s theory was right and the story revealed how Fett found Fennec’s body in dessert and helped her to get back in life. Later in “The Tragedy” Fennec helped Fett get his armor back from Mando. Fennec reappeared in the next episode as Mando, Fett, Cara Dune and a freed Mayfield undertook a dangerous mission to infiltrate an Imperial mining base on the planet Morak as part of their plan to get Grogu aka Baby Yoda back from Gideon.
After witnessing Fennec Stand’s extremely amazing fighting skills in the Mandalorian fans are just super excited after learning about his presence in The Bad Batch. It’s still not clear that the actress is going to voice her character in the animated show but fan’s guts say that she will reprise her role of an assassin in the animated show.
