Black Panther: Marvel To Release A Reality In Which Wakanda Stayed Hidden

The Black Panther’s Kingdom of Wakanda undergoes Major changes in Marvel’s Heroes Reborn event, which will reveal a history in which the county continued to remain hidden from the outside world. Marvel’s new Heroes Reborn event is coming out in May, which would be a Complete Reboot of the Marvel universe. This universe will bear a fate in which the Avengers never assembled. However, The Squadron Supreme of America took over the role of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes instead of the avengers.

In addition to that, it’s also been reported that the absence of the Avengers will create what can be explained as a ripple effect, leading to numerous other elements of Marvel History unraveling in new and very different ways. One such major change is the concept that the Black Panther’s Kingdom of Wakanda would continue to stay a myth, never to reveal itself to the outside world.

Black Panther’s History

Black Panther first appeared in 1966, when “Fantastic Four” #52 was released. It witnessed Marvel’s First Family coming in contact with King T’Challa, while also discovering the presence of his secret and technologically superior Kingdom Of  Wakanda, hidden deep within Africa.

As time passed by, King T’Challa decided to reveal Wakanda’s existence and improve its relationship with the world, while also agreeing to provide help and support as one of the Avengers. Surprisingly, the images from the new Heroes Reborn event reveal that the Reed Richards, Ben Grimm and  Susan, and Johnny Storm or collectively known as “The Fantastic Four” never got their powers in this new universe, which leads us to believe that they never became superheroes and the Fantastic Four was never formed and hence they never experienced the adventure that they previously had, including meeting T’Challa, King of Wakanda a.k.a. Black Panther.

Heartbreaking Changes

In the summary for Marvel’s Heroes Reborn event coming out in May, it was disclosed that Wakanda never made those strides to Join the rest of the world in this rebooted universe. “Welcome to a world where Tony Stark never built an arc reactor and ultimately never became Iron Man. Where Thor is a non-worthy, heavy drinking atheist who hates hammers. Wakanda is forgotten as a myth.”

While it could be believed that this was caused as a result of the fact that the Fantastic Four never encountered Black Panther, it is also possible that a world under the so-called protection of the sinister Squadron Supreme of America is not the one that the kingdom of Wakanda was ever comfortable in joining hands with.

Considering All The Possibilities.

Wakanda’s conceived existence in this universe opens up a wide range of possibilities. It could be that T’Challa never became the king, it is entirely possible that Wakanda is now ruled over by a different king like M’Baku or Eric Killmonger. Corrupted Coulson and his master Mephisto are likely to be the core factors that caused this new universe that Heroes Reborn will introduce, and it would be most exciting to see what role does Black Panther and his kingdom Wakanda plays in the future.
