Henry Cavill In Marvel Cinematic Universe

Why Superman Henry Cavill Joining Marvel?

Is Henry Cavill making plans to enter Marvel?

Marvel has reportedly planned to ‘assemble’ things with Henry Cavill. The actor has played a lot many roles especially his iconic roles as Superman and Sherlock Holmes. Universally popular for his portrayal of Superman in DCEU, Henry might set foot into Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even though Superman is crucial for the universe at this point, rumors are suggesting that maybe Marvel wants a part of Cavill as well. We can’t diverge with the fact that JJ Adams is doing a Superman reboot without Henry.

There were also theories that MCU has been planning Captain Britain aka Brian Braddock as a project and Henry Cavill being a male lead in it. Brain Braddock is a super-soldier who became Captain Britain through the magic of Merlin and his daughter Roma. There has been a lot of anticipation with Captain Britain after Peggy Carter mentioned the character. However, if the rumors turn out true, Henry Cavill would become one of the few people who have made it in both DC and MCU. This isn’t the first time Henry Cavill has been rumored for Marvel.  It doesn’t seem likely that Captain Britain would be a major part of the MCU, it would be a good reach for Henry Cavill to appear both in DC and MCU.

It’s clear that MCU hasn’t forgotten about the character of Captain Britain. The upcoming animated series of MCU “What If..?” will be showing intriguing scenarios that would have greatly changed the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. One episode would be showing Peggy taking the blue serum turning her up into Captain Britain. This idea may bring out interesting scenarios than bringing Cavill as Captain Britain. There’s no doubt Cavill would make a fine fit as Captain Britain. Not only he’s from England but also he has proven his efficiency as a superhero with all strength.

It’s unclear whether Cavill would be selected for the role or not, especially in the rumors where he has signed a contract to resume his role in three more Superman movies.
