Dragon Ball Super Season 2

Why Dragon Ball Super Season 2’s Success Guaranteed Even Before Its Release

The Success of Dragon Ball is by far the greatest in history and this is likely to continue with the series’ upcoming project.

The Dragon Ball franchise has been one of the most successful amine series in the world and has become a very important part of our lives. The lead characters Goku and Vegeta have become a great source of inspiration and motivation for the viewers despite being just fictional characters. Akira Toriyama, the creator of this legendary series, has always been surprised by the success of the show as he initially expected it to last only a year. The original Dragon Ball Z show started airing in 1989 and remains immortal even after approximately 3 decades, giving rise to different spin-off series like Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and Super Dragon Ball Heroes.

Our heroes, Goku and Vegeta have come a very long way from where they began their journeys, starting as mere Saiyans to attaining Divine powers. The last episode of Dragon Ball Super aired in 2018 and Toei animation still earns the highest from Dragon Ball Super and that fact alone is sufficient to express the awesomeness of the show. The series is likely to enjoy the top spot for a while as more amazing projects are on their way.

Dragon Ball Super Season 2

After the Tournament of Power arc concluded in 2018, Toei Animation opened up a new division which focused only on “Dragon Ball” content. It has been nearly 3 years since the last episode of Dragon Ball Super aired and there still hasn’t been any official confirmation about the second season of the series being in work, however if we are to believe the wild rumors on the internet, DBS season 2 would likely to come out sometime in winter this year.

New chapters from DBS manga continue to be released month after month and so there is no problem for the plot of the second season. The only hint we received about the sequel was by a tweet from Ryo Horikawa, the voice actor of our beloved Saiyan Prince Vegeta. So there is nothing we can do but hope that the ongoing rumors are true and we would finally be getting the next season this year.

What Should You Expect To See

The latest chapters of the manga series provide insights into two of the major villains that could appear in the series. The Galactic Patrol Prisoner saga introduces the ancient evil villain Moro, who is in a league of his own. He wielded unimaginable power which he gained by consuming the life forces of planets. The storyline would also explore the newly acquired “Ultra Instinct” technique by Goku who will go on to master it and then defeat the seemingly invincible villain. Yet another villain is arriving to fight the Z-fighters and he is Granolah.

Granolah is the sole survivor of the Cerealian race which was wiped from existence by the Saiyans. Now he is back for revenge and has a certain way to make it happen. Apart from Goku, Prince Vegeta would also push beyond his limit and increase his might as a Warrior. Although he doesn’t appear to have gained a new form, his training with the Yardrat gave him a brand new technique- the Forced Spirit Fission which would come in handy in the fight against Moro. With so much amazing stuff in store, the success of Dragon Ball Super season 2 is assured.
