Millie Bobby Brown started her career with Netflix’s Stranger Things and became one of the most well-known and popular young faces in recent times. However, she has only starred in three movies since the beginning of her career, two of those movies are from the monsterVerseand the other became one of Netflix’s most-watched original movies, ever. Thus, it is understandable that the makers of Godzilla Vs Kong wanted to profit off of her popularity and gave her a much bigger role.
Being the only returning face from King of the Monsters apart from the brief role played by Kyle Chandler as her father. She thus acted as the only connective tissue toKing of the Monsters. However, the fans have been divided when it comes to discussing over whether Bobby Brown’s road trip subplot along with Brian Tyree Henry’s conspiracy theorist and Julian Dennison’s hanger-on, was necessary or not.

The We Got This Covered’s review of Kong vs Godzilla suggested that the producers could simply do away with the trio subplot and not much difference would be made. Here’s what the MonsterVerse fans had to say about the road trip tangent between the mismatched running buddies―

Humans are least important characters in MonsterVerse
Although Humans are secondary characters in MonsterVerse movies and most of them are in the storyline to take the plot forward, push things and simply move things on from one big action sequence to another, but Millie Bobby Brown’s storyline seems out of place and half baked with little to no impact in Godzilla vs Kong. We thus believe the makers could easily do away with her plotline to make the movie even more engaging.
