The third and the next chapter in the Conjuring universe, “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” is arriving on June 4, and a recent video of the movie has been released. The movie revolves around the murder trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, which became a media buzz after Arne claimed that a demonic possession led him to kill off his landlord Alan Bono.
The video clip features scenes from the movie along with the actual newspaper clippings from the case and the truth narrated by Debbie Johnson, the killer’s wife. I’m not even sure if I should address him as Killer, considering the outcome of the case, so let’s just call him the victim. In the video, we hear the truth behind “The Devil Made Me Do It” case from Debbie along with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who play the roles of Ed and Lorraine Warren respectively.

In the video clip, Debbie explains how the greatest nightmare of her life started after the couple moved in a new house along with her little brother, David. After the couple moved in, Debbie’s little brother David started experiencing paranormal presence which started to physically attack him. Things got worse when one day David started to what the couple believed to be a demonic possession. The couple watched little David suffer and couldn’t do anything about it.
Arnie wanted to help David so bad that he called out to the spirit and invited it into his own body and leave David alone. That was the end of David’s suffering but the start of Arne’s. And on Feb 16, 1981, the unthinkable happened and Arne killed their landlord, Alan. After he was arrested, the press started to question Debbie on what she thought would have drive Arne to kill to which she answered that he was “Possessed”. The victim’s wife came forward with the explanation because she wants people to know what happened. She wants people to believe in the presence of ghosts and demons and to tell them that it’s not a subject to be taken lightly.
