Ending season 5 on a cliffhanger, fans couldn’t be happier that they are back with another season. YES…!!!! You read it right, they are back and with a BANG.
Peaky Blinder fans couldn’t be happier, a VR game is in the making, various spin-offs are planned, a MOVIE is in talks too & now Peaky Blinders season 6 is releasing. Director Anthony Byrne’ announced (or precisely took to social media) that the shooting of Season 6 has been wrapped up on 27th May 2021. The shooting began back in January 2021, when creator ‘Steven Knight’ also joked with fans saying “Peaky is back and with a bang“.
After enforced production delay due to pandemic, we find the family in extreme jeopardy and the stakes have never been higher. We believe this will be the last series of all and I am sure that our amazing fans will love it. While the TV series will be coming to an end, the story will continue in another form.
Peaky Blinders Season 6: Everything You Need To Know
- The shoot for this season began in January and wrapped up on 27th May 2021.

Originally people assumed that the new season would release by January but due to unprecedented times, we are in things got a little off track. Director Anthony Byrne hinted at a ‘late 2021’ or ‘early 2022’ release. He said, “If the shooting begins in January and we finish it by May or June, then another 6 months of editing and the series will release most probably by the end of 2021 or early 2022″. Superstar ‘Finn Cole’ also told NME that “I am hoping that everything’s done by the end of 2021”.
Peaky Blinders Season 6: Expected Plot
After the sad demise of ‘Helen McCrory (Polly Gray) in April 2021 (battling cancer), it’s most likely that the plot will take a twist but nothing has been announced yet. Peaky Blinders season 5 ended with Michael having an offer to hand over the ‘opium business to youngsters, Alfie Solomons also turned out to be alive, and ‘Shelby’s plot to get rid of Mosley went down the drain which pushed ‘Tommy’ over the edge. The big question remains –Who was it who hampered their plan? Was it Solomon? Was it Michael?
WELL… whatever happens we are sure that’s it got be good and fulfilling and fans can’t wait to see it.
