Netflix’s fantasy drama Shadow and Bone is based on Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse best-selling novels. The first season of Shadow and Bone released on Netflix on 23rd April 2021. Shadow and Bone season 1 was watched by more than 50 million in the first 28 days, according to Netflix. Now here’s a piece of good news for the fans of Shadow and Bone. Shadow And Bone: What Is It All About?
The fantasy drama revolves around unique monsters, currencies, and languages. There’s a lot to discover for the viewers. The series is adapted from Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse books which bring fans into the world of Ravka, a country occupied with element-manipulating powers and divided by a region of tangible darkness filled with monsters called the Shadow Fold. The story follows Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li), a mapmaker who finds out that she has a rare power to summon sunlight which could destroy the Shadow Fold and save numbers of people’s lives.
Shadow and Bone Season 2: It’s Official Now!
After the first season of Shadow and Bone, there were plenty of rumors rounded that the series is under development. But, there were no official updates. However, Netflix’s Geeked Week event dropped a bunch of announcements today. The renewal update was disclosed in a video with the cast of Shadow and Bone. The showrunner Eric Heisserer said, “I’m honored and thrilled to return to the Grishaverse and continue the stories of these endearing characters particularly Milo”
Also, Leigh Bardugo stated that
“There are so many places we’ve barely gotten to visit and I can’t wait to introduce our audience to more of the saints, soldiers, thugs, thieves, princes, and privateers who make this world so much fun to explore. It’s going to be real magic to see our brilliant, talented cast expand”
Well, Bardugo’s statement is definitely giving us some major hints that season 2 will surely be a roller coaster ride for viewers. Further, Shawn Adam Levy said
