Videos and pictures from the Folie à Deux set depict the “new Joker” setting Arkham Asylum on fire. Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck ran through the corridors of Arkham State Hospital, the DC film adaptation of the recognizable Arkham Asylum from the comic books, as the episode of Joker came to a close. Currently, the facility appears to be being demolished in the photos taken on the sequel’s set.

An official photograph from Joker: Folie à Deux showed Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck getting his beard trimmed by someone in the same facility. The Joker movie ending revealed that Arthur was imprisoned at Arkham State Hospital. Nevertheless, it appears that the Joker may just be leaving behind the movie version of Arkham Asylum after destroying it after spending some time there.
