Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip is the folding screen phone. It is one of the best folding screen phones. Z Flip is more expensive than Motorola Razr and Galaxy Fold. This phone has a glass screen. It costs $1,380.
It seems like a special folding phone but will look like a normal phone after some time. There are pros along with the cons of this folding phone. It gives a great performance and a decent battery life. One will experience a smooth hinge while folding the phone.
The glass screen is more prone to scratches easily. It also does not offer a good range of camera as compared to Samsung Galaxy S10 or iPhone 11. It is highly expensive. The biggest failure can be seen when it comes to the screen. Samsung has used the glass that bends, so it is not as durable as it should have been. Samsung has covered the glass screen with the second layer of plastic which is soft that catches scratches easily which breaks the glass screen and damages the OLED display.
Also, it seems a little weird when there is a crease in the middle of the screen which is noticeable even if one does not want to see it. The screen quality is better than other folding phones but it should be pro according to the price it is available in.
It is more comfortable to open the flip of the phone using two hands. Though one can shut it using one hand only. The phone can be put in FLEX MODE that is useful for video calls or taking selfies.
Brushes and caps have been added to the hinge of the phone to protect it from debris. Leaving the issue of screen and price aside, the Z Flip is better than other folding phones.
