If Daredevil will be having a role in Spider-Man 3 of the MCU, then the character will not be the version of Spiderman‘s character from Netflix.
Charlie Cox confirmed that his character of Daredevil from Netflix will not be appearing the same in Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 movie. Marvel Cinematic Universe received great popularity after the release of The Avengers. Marvel and Netflix joined concurrently to bring more MCU content to the streaming platform. The first show from the pact was Daredevil that had introduced Cox as Matt Murdock.
His fans do now want him to do movies and thus, ask Marvel to do a film taking Daredevil.
Despite Daredevil riding for 3 seasons, the character being appeared in The Defenders, Cox’s moment as Daredevil apparently ceased with the revocation of the cycle. Daredevil’s fans asked Marvel Studios to regain the character of the series.
Because now Marvel is legally allowed to bring Cox as a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans hope has been restored when it has become prominent that Cox could appear as Daredevil in SuperMan 3. This is assumed that Daredevil could be seen helping Peter Parker.
Cox will not be the Daredevil in MCU
The rumors have never come out from the credible references. Cox has closed the rumors of him being a Daredevil. But fans still have hope with Spider-Man 3 as a perfect platform to bring back Daredevil’s character. Cox has confirmed that he is having no discussion about his return as Daredevil. And if somehow this is true then he will not be the one in the suit. He said while speaking to ComicBook.
“I hadn’t heard those rumours, but it’s certainly not with my Daredevil. I’m not involved in it. If that’s true, it’s not with me. It’s with another actor.”
Fans want the crossover of Tom Holland’s SpiderMan and Cox’s Daredevil but this has never occurred due to the legal obstacles between Netflix and Marvel. Even the actors have expressed their interest in favor of the crossover.
Let’s see if the crossover would take place in the near future.
