It has now become a trend, for many heroes and villains to dress up in Iron Man’s Armor. However, in one brilliant comic series, one of Marvel’s renowned bad guys, Doctor Doom, stole this role from the Iron Man and became the new trend in the Marvel Comics.
The Reformed Doctor Doom of Marvel Story:
The well-known Villain in the Marvel Universe-Doctor Doom, who plans for the World’s Destruction and wants to acquire full authority over the world. This intention of Doom has always been in the frontline of all his stories. But soon, a reformed Doom helped Tony Stark. He decided to take the responsibility of Iron Man in Tony’s absence. This was an amazing reformation in the history of Marvel Comics [From a Villain to a Hero].
In Infamous Iron Man, written by comic veteran writers Alex Maleev and Brian Michael Bendis, Doctor Doom‘s changed behavior from a super Villain to a Hero, was not expected and thus not appreciated by everyone.
The Fantastic Four’s Ben Grimm couldn’t believe this change in Doom and decided to scrutinize the Infamous Iron Man. Doom tried to be his best and continued to live the life of decency. He stopped being selfish and made decisions that would be beneficial for people at large and did every bit to help the needy. This all, no doubt, literally made him “Heroic”.
The VILLAIN turned HERO OF Marvel Comics:
Doom tried his best in keeping the good guy in him alive and walked the path of generosity. He even teamed up with the Avengers. Though nobody believed that he changed for real, Doom wasn’t upset by it at all. But someone or the other would light up that hidden fire in him which almost and always forced him to shed-off his good-guy behavior. Hood with his gang attacked Doom and burnt his face [Before he became Iron Man]. He tried his best to always do good but people like Hood would force him to become his forgotten self-“The Villain”.
Doom will always be considered as a Villain. But his journey in becoming A GOOD GUY stole everyone’s heart. For this reason, Infamous Iron Man will be the most loved Marvel’s Story.
