Extraction has gained a lot of positive views from critics as well as audiences. With the immense success of Extraction, Netflix is planning forward for the making of Extraction 2. Joe Russo might return as a scriptwriter of the film. Fans are waiting for Chris Hemsworth to star in the movie.
It is official from Netflix’s side that it is working with Joe Russo where the latter is set to write the script of the sequel. The Russo brothers are beginning another phase of their career after the success they have got from Marvel Studios. They have together launched their own production company that is AGBO. They have many projects on their way kike 21 Bridges with Chadwick Boseman. The next directorial from their side would be a war drama story, Cherry that will be starring Tom Holland.
Extraction has been written by long time stunt performer and director, Sam Hargrave. The movie has debuted on Netflix. Fans have appreciated Hemsworth as the new action hero. The film follows and focuses on Tyler Rake’s endeavour in order to protect a child and maintain him alive. There have been a lot of unanswered questions and confusions in the film. Netflix is now working for the sequel of the film so as to clear the doubts and questions of the fans of Extraction and of course, Hemsworth.
Joe Russo is Assigned to Inscribe for Extraction 2
Joe Russo has already secured a deal with Netflix to inscribe the script of the sequel. According to Deadline, Joe Russo has said, ” we’re not committing yet to whether that story goes forward, or backward in time. We left a big loose ending that leaves question marks for the audience.” It is not confirmed if San Hargrave will be directing the film or not. And if Joe will be writing the script alone. Even Hemsworth does not have an extended contract. Fans want them two together again. And thus, Netflix must be waiting to make the deals possible before the script gets completed.
Merely the prospective times could tell if the crew changes while filming the sequel. But, we hope to see Chris Hemsworth again in Extraction 2.
