Flash wins against Superman Comics

Flash wins against Superman: Anticipated by Lex Luthor

Flash wins against Superman, Some debates are never meant to be ended, especially when it is about the Scarlet Speedster and the Man of Steel. Who wins the race? Is it Superman or the Flash? This has been going on since 1967.

While their initial pair of friendship races ended in ties, their third race halted in an accomplishment for the Flash. The pursuing decades proceeded with this movement, with Superman hardly being able to bear up with who is going to wear the Flash emblem.

In Superman: Up in The Sky #4 which is written by Tom King and the art is designed by Andy Kubert, shows Clark. Clark proves that he can outrun the fastest man alive on the planet.

Although the King admits that the Flash is theoretically quicker than Superman, has offered a reason to push himself beyond his maxima. He can increase his speed and momentum to a degree that even the fastest man alive has a problem in maintaining it up with. In this specific race, Lex Luthor has assured to donate a billion dollars to a hub for displaced kids only if Superman wins (because Lex has evaluated that the Flash would win against Superman).

Lex was valid in suspecting that the Flash is promptly faster than the Man of Steel. Barry Allen’s heir Wally West clarified it best in The Flash #209 that was written by Geoff Johns in 2004. Wally, the Scarlet Speedster at the time, was acting Superman. And somewhere between New York and Maui the Flash realized that Clark’s momentum snapped the constitutions of physics and gravity. However, Wally had an outstanding trick, he thought that he could have handily left Superman in the dust… but he refused to do so.

Wally: The New Hostile Speedster

At this time, the Speed Force i.e. the astral energy field that shoves space and time forward, was a very new theory. When Wally discovered it to be the strength behind the Flash’s tremendous speed, it opened up aggressive new chances for him as a speedster.

One such boost was the strength to siphon kinetic energy from different fast-paced bodies. To thump Superman in a race, Wally would require him to get within intimate vicinity and snatch his speed. However, accomplishing so would incline to be catastrophic. Superman would be an indestructible damaging ball of devastation, incapable to govern his velocity for leagues.

Even without the speed trench trick, both Barry and Wally are technically quicker than Superman. The Speed Force enables the Flash-Family to outrun time. However, running too fast can also be toxic to them. What eventually bestows Superman the perimeter in the race is his invulnerability. Superman can shove past his maxima without any bodily backlash.

During the race against Superman, The Flash may be the obvious winner. But this doesn’t mean that one should place the bets on him in the first place. Lex Luther has learned this as well.
