Loki isn't Dead

Loki isn’t Dead

Loki isn’t Dead! More or less he is still alive. And we are proving just that today. And before moving forward a spoiler warning is now in effect as we will diving deep into the MCU.

The new upcoming series of Marvel name Loki is in the works and will be soon released on Disney+ for all of us to enjoy. Now before coming to my theory let’s read the synopsis.

Loki Avengers Endgame

“Loki” the mercurial villain (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the god of mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame

Yes, the series takes place after the events of Endgame which makes all the more sense that Loki is still alive. Enough talking let’s get to it.

Thor Ragnarok

Loki Thor Ragnarok

In the end credits of Thor: Ragnarok, we see Thanos’ ship appearing in front of the Asgardian refugee ship. Loki would’ve known exactly what this is because he worked with Thanos before when Thanos gave him the Mind Stone for the battle of New York. So he would likely already know of Thanos’ plan to collect the Infinity Stones, which he would explain to Thor and others on the ship. Together, they come up with a plan.

Thor: The Dark World

Loki Thor The Dark World

We saw in Thor: The Dark World that Loki can transform other people too. He even made Thor look like Sif. So someone on the ship, probably someone sad and grieving about the ones they love that died, would volunteer to be Loki. He would tell them what to say and disguise himself as one of the already dead Asgardians to hide from Thanos. Then Thor would act like the illusion was the real Loki in order to fool Thanos.

Conclusion

So where does Loki go after the ship explodes? Well, I think he leaves before then when Heimdall sends Hulk back to Earth. We see in Thor 2011 that Loki can make himself invisible to others when he tries to lift the hammer, so he could’ve easily done the same thing again to escape unnoticed. From there, he’d hide on Earth until he sees the opportune moment to reappear.
