The movie Joker origin, The Dark Knights’ movie writer disclosed that the team faced a lot of pressure to cover the origin story of Joker in the acclaimed DC movie.
The film was directed by Christopher Nolan. It includes a dark and famous representation of the Joker enacted by the late Heath Ledger. It is till date considered to be the most popular superhero movie. Joker appeared in the The Dark Knight (2008) . The appearance was without any background story as to why he came and from where? And what made him the villain?
Why did Warner Bros. resist the appearance of Joker?
However, according to David S. Goyer, the decision to his appearance was initially disregarded and resisted by Warner Bros.
“I do remember when we were talking about, ‘Well, what if the Joker doesn’t really have an origin story?’ Even after the success of Batman Begins, that was considered a very controversial thing, and we got a lot of pushback. People were worried,” David revealed during a Comic-Con@Home interview.

Moreover, the BBFC revealed in its annual report that 20 complaints were received against the Joker movie. They were all related to the age classification of the film that was 15 years.
