A couple of months ago, BioWare came forward and revealed that it would examine as to what went wrong with Anthem. They even revealed how they plan to correct it. Now, it has given some more clear results regarding the idea and the expectation.
The Anthem audience wanted to know more about both the loot and equipment, as per BioWare. Anthems biggest is not the lack of pirates but the fundamental things. However, more was expected to come out of them than just some bullet points regarding loot.
It’s said that the loot drops will not be rare but frequent. Also, all models are quite competitive and hence better. One can easily avoid RNG by quests, focused vendors, and distinctive loot tables. Also, if you like a specific piece of gear, it can be leveled up to maintain its effectiveness.
BioWare is working on the following things in regards to loot:
- Increase in Loot Drops’ frequency
- All loot uniqueness has calculated value throughout the development.
- You can follow specific loot irrespective of depending on randomness only; Specialized Vendors; Quests; and Unique Loot Tables
- Loot is feasible more often; All items are finer and quite competitive, but the probability of getting something exceptional is there.
- Rare enemies (aka “walking treasure chests”) create exciting moments to get a burst of loot all at once
- Reveal loot right away
- Total revamp of the equipment sheet
- The equipment sheet is accessible from anywhere and also allows you to watch what is equipped in each slot
- No more useless items due to the missing must-have messages
- Exceptional items regarding obtaining the exact types of bonuses desired
- The power cap increases easily.
- Advanced telemetry data permits us to recognize trends and thereby carry out significant balance changes
The Loot’s redesign delayed
Loot is just a bit of the redesign, however, and BioWare claims to have made some advancements to gunplay. It is also exploring melee items. Nothing can be said about when the change will be seen but as per the evident scale of the redesign, it will take some more time to finish. Also, now the work from home situation is equally contributing to the delay.
