All new Sasquatch is on its way. Sasquatch, Walter Langkowski has played a significant role in the current Immortal Hulk series by AI Ewing. However, the character is dead, Ewing has hinted the return of all new Sasquatch in issue #40 that will be hitting the stands on 18th November.
In a recent interview, Ewing has teased, “He’s similar in some respects but very, very different in others. He’s very much not the Sasquatch we know and love”. Thus, readers will be seeing an All new Sasquatch.
Ewing acknowledged that the impending addition of Sasquatch was a notion that arrived at him quite suddenly, which left little time for artist Joe Bennett to educate the character’s new manifestation. “But that fits with what we’re doing with the character,” he explained. “He both is different and isn’t.” All new Sasquatch will be distinct.
All New Sasquatch To Be Developed By Bennett
Ewing also went on to praise Bennett for his actions in highlighting the furry monster’s character traits just beneath his terrible exterior, pointing out that Bennett has been raising his most celebrated artwork throughout the entire series. “We’ve got things coming up — including in the very next issue, #38 — that are going to blow your mind,” Ewing teased.
Beyond the return of Sasquatch, Ewing also implied at his unusual take on the classic Hulk/Thing pursuit to be emphasized in the pages of this December’s Immortal Hulk #41.
Till then, let’s wait for November and see how an all new Sasquatch will look like.
