If you are a super nerd for Superheroes, here a list of all the mighty superheroes coming to your screen this year.
People would be lying if they say they never wanted to be a superhero at some point in their life. Everyone wants to be one or the other superpowered being who protects the innocent and saves the day. The two biggest superhero franchises, Marvel comics and DC comics, have given us a lot of amazing superheroes over the years and a lot of them have found their way to the big screen up until now and more and more superheroes are joining them every year.
Sadly, thanks to the COVID- 19 pandemic none of the superhero projects came out last year. However, this year is having its fill of incredible superhero projects which are so good that everyone would forget about last year in no time.
The DCEU released the long-sought “Justice League Snyder Cut” on March 18 and it was a cinematic masterpiece. It was so good that some fans believe that it made their whole year. The MCU released its first small-screen projects “WandaVision” and “The Falcon & The Winter Soldier” and both of them have already made the top spot during the time of their run. All in all, this year had been one hell of a ride for people who eagerly wait for superhero movies and tv shows to come. Luckily this year is not over yet and so is the number of superhero projects arriving this year.
The MCU’s Superheroes Yet To Come
The MCU skipped 2020 and all the movies that were scheduled for last year are coming out this year, here’s a list of them all:-
Black Widow
Black Widow is THE most hyped MCU movie that is arriving this year. The chivalrous hero who laid down her life so that the lives of half of all beings in the universe can be restored is coming back with the story of her life. The trailer literally blew up the minds of the watchers and they have been excitedly waiting for its release that is why the constant delays irritated them to a high extent. Luckily it’s not going to be delayed anymore, it arrives on July 9, 2021, in theatres near our along with a Disney+ release that requires “Premiere Access”.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
MCU’s first Asian superhero is making his debut this year on September 3, 2021. The movie marks the arrival of the real Mandarin in the MCU and will narrate the story of our hero who battles his father and his magical forces to end his reign of terror.
Eternals
Based on the Immortal alien race determined to protect the Earth from the Deviants, the “Eternals” movie will feature the ancient heroes reuniting after being in hiding for thousands of years. It stars an ensemble cast including Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Gemma Chan, and Barry Keoghan. The first look at the Eternals movie came along with the promotional clip released by Marvel Studios on May 3 and the movie comes out on November 25, 2021.
Spider- Man: No Way Home
Spider- Man: No Way Home is another greatly hyped movie of 2021 as it will continue the tale of our Friendly neighbourhood Superhero after his identity was publicly revealed in the previous movie. Our hero gets a new mentor and tackles the massive burden of responsibilities that he inherited with his powers. Just Wait until December 17 to see how our hero saves his life that is falling apart.
The DCEU’s Superheroes coming this year
The sequel/reboot of 2016’s Suicide Squad, “The Suicide Squad” is also hitting the theatres this year on August 6. After the original movie faced criticism for poor story and cinematography, the DCEU hired James Gunn to sprinkle his magic and handle the story of the Villains doing good. Also arriving this year is the sequel to the tale of the amazing antihero- Venom. The massively hyped sequel is titled “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” and that contains all the reasons for its hype.
Our favourite antihero (Apart from Deadpool that is) will face off against an enemy of the same origin as him- “Carnage”. Believe me when I tell you that the battle between the symbiotes will blow you away with its incredible and crazy action. Let dedicate the rest of the year to all the Superheroes coming this year and wait.
