Will Amazon be having additional Sony PlayStation 5 consoles available while pre-ordering the same on its forthcoming Prime Day event? The retailer(online) was vague on its recent response to the question.
Amazon has posted on the customer service of the company’s Twitter account. It stated, “All details about this release including available inventory are on the item’s page. We don’t have any other updates at this time.”

However, Amazon’s product page for the PlayStation 5 does not provide any additional information regarding the same. It simply states that the console is “currently unavailable,” and “We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.”
The PlayStation 5 console was previously proposed for pre-sale on Amazon
The console was previously proposed for pre-sale on Amazon, as well as different large retailers such as Walmart and Best Buy, but they had to face the trouble as soon, the pre-order was halted because of the high demand for PS5.
Amazon’s annual Prime Day is actually a two-day event. It will take place on 13 and 14 October. The event historically gives Amazon Prime members savings on certain items, touting deals that are often unavailable at any other time during the whole year. Generally, Prime Day takes place in July but because of the pandemic, Amazon had decided to postpone the event. Amazon thus postponed the event for this year. Now it will be taking place soon in mid-October.
The PlayStation 5 will be going on sale Nov. 12 from Sony. The version with the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will be available for $499 USD, while the Digital Edition without a disc drive will be available for $399.
