Whether Nicolas Cage would repeat his role as Benjamin Franklin Gates in the new Disney Plus series is still vague. Bruckheimer said that the cast for New theatrical movies would be the same as it was in the first two movies.
According to what Bruckheimer said about both the movies it looks like both, the National Treasure Disney Plus show and the third theatrical film are in the early process of development. Bruckheimer said that “The film version is being written right now, and the television version is in process”. “We have a pilot script done and we have an outline of the future episodes”.
The National Treasure Movie Series
The prospective new National Treasure movie series is yet another of Disney’s subsisting franchises that the company has extracted for Disney Plus shows. What’s even more interesting are the multiple Star Wars projects that are in the process of development as a series about Obi-Wan Kenobi, another about Cassian Andor, and the other one is Helmed by Leslye Headland. The list also includes The Mandalorian’s second season and not to forget multiple Marvel Series including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wanda Vision. And Loki.
