Marvel has teased that Ghost, the anti-hero in Antman and the Wasp will be having her own story that will be explored in the future story further.
A recent post on Marvel.com cracks down Ghost’s past in her debut movie, starting with her bracing beginning to Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne/Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), then taking out the coatings of her tragic story of past, encompassing a toxic accident which saw her arriving a state of “molecular disequilibrium,” bestowing her the ability to phase through walls.
Antman and The Wasp Reveals The Story
Because her molecules are often breaking and altering, her proficiency also implies she must accept tremendous amounts of pain. Ghost anticipated S.H.I.E.L.D. to assist and cure her, but rather, they educated her as a functional, as she was too influential a weapon to pass up. In the initial post-credits scene in Antman and the Wasp, Scott runs into the Quantum Realm to obtain quantum curing atoms in the confidence that they can wield them to protect Ghost. Of course, this is before The Snap, which saw a half of all existence in the universe broken by Thanos, departing Scott deserted in the Quantum Realm and also leaving Ghost’s tale open-ended.
This “story” could be Ant-Man 3, which does not presently have a release date. Filming was presumed to start in January of next year, but, because of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, that date is no longer put in stone.
Antman and The Wasp stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, Randall Park, and Walton Goggins.
