Anthony and Joe Russo are known for directing Infinity War and Endgame. While speaking to ComicBookMovie.com, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, better known as Russo brothers, said that they are more interested in making a movie about ‘Captain America’ returning to Infinity Stones.
At the end of the Endgame, i.e, at the conclusion, it is seen that the character of Chris Evans sacrificed himself. So as to go back in time to put down the Infinity Stones. These are the powerful artefacts that were needed to overthrow the bad, Thanos. His fate was not that bad. Though, as the film implied that the all-American idol didn’t only turn to this task for solely selfless reasons. But to invade a chance to go back in time and reunite with his adored one. He missed them after being frozen.
This Might Excited Them To Return Captain America
And that is the story that the Russo brothers are interested in exploring more.
Joe Russo said, “it would be a great story to tell, no question. I don’t know whether it needs to be told, but it would be a great story to tell. And we’d love to tell it, but I think there are other stories to move on to now.”
The director gives rise to a good point. It would not only the tale of Captain America returning the Infinity Stones be the reversal of the plot of Endgame. But it would also lack in the confrontation as audiences already know how this will end.
Whatever the case, Captain America is not the only face that directors are interested in. According to a report published in MCU cosmic, Marvel Studios has already been looking for different ways to bring Thanos back in another film. The Mad Titan really indexed among the brightest-burning masters of the Infinity War saga. His tale ability has by no means been depleted.
He is one of the few Marvel fiends who had a compelling backstory. Thanos could effortlessly star in many more films.
Well, it would be interesting to see if Captain America really returns back to the time to return back to the Infinity Stones.
