In the latest release of Future State Dark Detective, Batman is in trouble with the Magistrate controlling the whole city of Gotham.
Future State Dark Detective has gotten in quite the fix with the challenges Magistrate is throwing one after another. The magistrate is rising stronger ruling the scared streets of Gotham. Batman is all in to do some serious damage to the evil plans of the Magistrate. This includes faking his own death to disrupt the attention of the forces and put down Magistrate. But Future State Dark Detective features an outstanding move from Magistrate that has put Batman in shackles to take any serious action. As the Knight sits above looking to protect the city, Magistrate has eyes on the whole of Gotham.
Magistrate had advanced nano drones which give him surveillance of every little movement around the corner of the entire city. It is quite the irony that Bruce used a similar tactic to keep an eye on the happening all over the city to find out information. In The Dark Knight, it is shown that Batman taps into the cell phone network and catches the signals to gain surveillance over the entire city.
Lucius Fox agreed to this privacy invasion just for the priority to locate joker and plan a trap for him. The entire system was then neutralized after the job was done. Even the miniseries from 1996 had Batman use robots to keep an eye on the well being of the entire city while he was injured and hidden in the Batcave. Batman also fought crime with the help of these robots from the mancave itself.
Future State Dark Detective has now a twist with the evil keeping an eye on everyone. While it is still a serious crime and invasion of privacy the trust in batman doing good for the city is what keeps the issues in check. It is just the perfect strategy to know about the emergencies and threats that may arise at any time in the city. But as always, such advanced technology is always a threat in evil hands.
Though Magistrate hasn’t taken any serious action against Bruce, no one knows what is waiting. Finding out blindspots and countering this smart surveillance is going to be quite the task for the hero of Gotham. Even if the evil prevails, for now, the faith in justice and in Batman is the bright ray of hope for the city.
