Batman is better than Iron Man. Batman and Ironman are the superheroes who have infinite money as their superpower. But one of them takes it to the level where other thinks are absolutely crazy.
Both Marvel and DC comics have crimefighters whose superpowers are their infinite money. DC has the most famous superhero Batman whose fortune equipped him with the world’s best training and cutting-edge gadgets. On the other hand, Marvel A-list has Ironman, who doesn’t need any Kung-fu training, but builds robotic power armor with his intelligence to fight crime. For a long time, a debate is going on between the DC and Marvel fans that if Iron Man and Batman ever had a fight who will win it. But the answer to this question is hidden in Daredevil’s new issue. Daredevil spots light on Tony Stark and shows how Batman is better than Iron Man.
We also find that Batman is better than Iron Man. Chip Zdarsky’s Daredevil #22 with pencils by Francesco Mobili, inking by Victor Olazaba, color by Mattia Iacono, and lettering by Clayton Cowles is on a trail for accidentally killing a suspected thief in during a patrol. But before going to face his punishment he has to settle the biggest fight he ever had: his war with a pair of Siblings who have been covertly destroying Hell’s Kitchen so they can buy out the neighborhood.
What Makes Batman is Better Than Iron Man?
As his efforts fail to stop the real states crooks, Matt Murdock decided to approach someone who can give them a taste of their own medicine, The open identity of Iron Man billionaire Iron Man. Iron Man knows a fellow New York superhero and respects his decision to fight the crime on his own. But Tony gets shocked when the horned vigilant ask him for a favor, especially the part where he asks him to buy out Hell’s Kitchen before the amoral Stromwyns buys them out. The whole setup is done to show that Batman is better than Iron Man.
Tony finds it difficult to digest, he stammers and responds “You… want me to lose money doing this?” The Armored Avenger isn’t a fan of the idea of spending billions of dollars to win a principled fight against some bad people he has no particular beef with. In fact, he finds it “crazy”. And this shows Batman is better than Iron Man.
This is the difference that Tony and DC’s billionaire superhero has. Bruce Wayne has a will to use his money and money not just for his own profits but to support the people of Gotham. Bruce uses his wealth to invest in neighborhoods and even supply jobs to low-level thugs to give them a better future and once he even bought the whole Daily Planet to keep the circulation of the newspaper going on.
But In Daredevil #22 Tony decides to directly refuse to invest in to save human life despite that amount was much lesser than the amount he spends on building his armors which is just a hobby for him. Not mention Tony has made some really bad decisions when it comes to his financial profits. in the new Iron Man series, Tony sells off all his assets in his company, then immediately buys nearly half of them back to the tune of over twenty billion dollars. Tony could probably buy Hell’s Kitchen for the brokerage fees on that deal. And thus, Batman is better than Iron Man.
