Batman Deals With Joker War with Limited Tools During Joker War
Preparedness and planning, this is what Batman is known for. He always has the right gadget and piece of technology while helping save the day. Though, according to James Tynion IV, everything is not that good especially when it’s about the game-changing arsenal of Batman during Joker War.
Batman has an abundance of resources in Gotham. This has created good consequences during the beginning of the Joker War. The tools and technology have now become the worst. James Tynion IV while his interview has revealed his intentions to show Batman’s use of tools as dangerous as the War continues.
James Tynion IV is the writer of the Batman series since the 86th issue. Batman is reaching every possible peak with the technology and resources while making Gotham a safer place. There were James’ intentions while making him use the same technology during the prelude of the Joker War. All the new technology that is used is “the danger of overreach”. He says, “the danger of overreach and creating these systems and all of these dangerous gadgets is: what if they fall into the wrong hands?”
Joker To Destroy Gotham City
Their Dark Designs had ended and this is where the Joker War began where he steals Wayne’s Fortune. This has resulted in the seizure of Wayne’s assets. Joker now owns the technology and tools that Batman used to save the city. Joker could use the same to destroy it.
The idea of Batman’s over-reliance on his tools is the theme from the place where the Joker War began. Batman is following the 100th issue. And Tynion says, “Everything that incredible wealth has given him, all of these advantages, and then seeing it in the hands of the Joker, and how dangerous it is, and how it messes with the legal system, and how it can really cripple Gotham City in this massive, dangerous way, using that wealth, that is incredibly deliberate and something that I wanted to point at Batman.”
Now Batman is left with some of the tools and gadgets. He will have to deal with Joker the same. He might find strength in his family. The lack of resources will take him there. More details will be revealed only when James Tynion IV comes with it.
