Here is the new artwork of Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice. It replaces the final battle villain Doomsday with Darkseid.
Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman Dawn Of Justice was the 2nd installment in the DCEU and gave rise to the iconic identities together for the first time in a live-action film. As the Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice implies, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) spend much of the film fighting with each other, but the ultimate act puts them (along with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman) against a newly-created Doomsday, Lex Luthor’s (Jesse Eisenberg) definitive weapon against the idols. In the comics, Doomsday has the reputation, having been the one to murder Superman in The Death of Superman.
However, many reported that Doomsday’s Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice manifestation knocked over a bit flat. Not only is he never appropriately named but the CGI that gave rise to Doomsday to life was trash. In the end, the fight did result in Superman’s death, but all-around, fans had wished for more when it came to Doomsday. They were provided new hope when Snyder verified online that the “real Doomsday” still prevails within the DCEU.
In this piece of fanart of Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice, Doomsday isn’t the central antagonist of Batman v Superman’s final battle. Artist Mizuri took one of the best shots and gave rise to a major tweak: Darkseid has taken Doomsday’s place. Now it looks like the central threesome of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman are propping themselves for a fight against the Apokolips ruler.

Darkseid is to make his own live-action film debut in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Snyder constantly intended to introduce the DC villain in his Justice League, but the theatrical cut that was supervised by Joss Whedon and removed him entirely.
Once that occurs, fans can assume if Darkseid lives up to their intentions and expectations, or falls short like Doomsday did for many.
